“Knowledge exists potentially in the human soul like the seed in the soil; by learning the potential becomes actual” said by Al Imam AlGhazaly
Inspired by Niemeyer’s sky opening at Rasheed Karami fair building entrances, the orange leaf (Tripoli’s ( Alfayhaa) main branding) has led the massing arrangement of the proposed design. This arrangement on the other hand has reflected his passion to curves; The proposed design has started from an underground level as a seed of knowledge placed in the soil of history blooming with innovation and creativity. A seed to be incubated by an environment of natural elements that flourish and foster growth of knowledge and innovations heading to the sky
“I was attracted by the curve — the liberated, sensual curve suggested by the possibilities of new technology yet so often recalled in venerable old baroque churches.”
By placing most project elements underground, the proposed design offers due respect to the existing modern heritage. Landscape has been elaborately articulated where a dynamic pattern connects buildings to Earth while providing a rich natural environment to all spaces that boosts positive energy to all users. This engagement increases the dynamic interaction between users and space.
